We want to provide parents with a starting point for accessing quality services readily available. There are many service and therapy options to accommodate the needs of all children with A.S.D. in the Greater Victoria Area.  Our objective is to help you identify service providers who work in and around Sooke & the Westshore area to reduce travel required.

 

We are passionate about ensuring families use all of the Autism Funding to maximize the development potential and success of their children.

There are several types of individual Service Providers, but some of the more common ones include:

​

• Behavioural Consultant - Assessments, creates a plan and develops specific programs for your child

• Autism Interventionist/Childcare Worker - Works directly with your child to implement programs 

• Speech Therapist - Works on speech and communication with your child

• Occupational Therapist - Works on motor skills and sensory issues with your child

• Respite Care - Allows for parental downtime while your child is cared for in an individual setting

• Social Program - Encourage and develop your child's social skills 

• Life Skills Program - Encourage and develop your child's life skills
