SASS may collect personal information when you:

Mailing List and Email Communications

 

If you choose to subscribe to the SASS mailing list, we may use your name and email address to send you newsletters, announcements, program information, and other SASS updates.

SASS uses Brevo to manage its mailing lists and email communications. Information provided for this purpose may therefore be processed and stored by Brevo in accordance with its privacy and security practices.

Subscribing to our mailing list is optional. Submitting a contact form or registering for a SASS activity does not, by itself, subscribe you to our mailing list. You must actively choose to subscribe, such as by selecting the subscription option on one of our forms.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in our emails.

Website and Forms

 

Our website is hosted by Wix, and we use Wix Forms to collect information submitted through forms on the site.

Wix may process technical information necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the website. Information you submit through a Wix form may also be stored or processed through Wix's systems.

SASS does not currently use third-party advertising pixels or additional marketing-tracking integrations such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or Google advertising tags.

Donations

 

Online donations to SASS are processed through CanadaHelps, a third-party charitable giving platform. When you select a Donate link on our website, you will be directed to the CanadaHelps website to complete your donation.

SASS does not collect or process your payment card or banking information through this website. CanadaHelps collects and processes the information required to complete your donation and issue a tax receipt in accordance with its own privacy practices.

CanadaHelps may provide SASS with information about your donation and, where you have chosen to share it, your contact information. SASS will use donor information we receive only for appropriate charitable, administrative, and donor-relations purposes.

Like most websites, our website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the website to function properly, maintain security, remember settings, or provide basic website functionality.

SASS does not currently use cookies for third-party advertising or advertising-based tracking.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal or medical information through a general website contact form unless it is necessary for your request.
